Dev and Koel Mullick - popular stars of modern Bengali commercial cinema, team up for the third time, probably to deliver another formula Bangla movie for mass consumption of teenagers and youngsters still in the process of developing a sense of what makes a movie classy. Their previous two movies - Mon Maane Na and Premer Kahini - were box-office successes, and the upcoming Kolkata Bengali new film Bolo Na Tumi Amar is expected to be no less.

There are hints of Bolo Na Tumi Amar just being another pop movie in that director Sujit Mondal has admitted to "borrowing" the storyline from "another film", as reported in The Telegraph on July 31, 2009. Mondol also owns up to using the Bollywood movie Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rahte Hain as the basis for the 2009 hit Bengali film Saat Paake Bandha starring Jeet and Koyel Mullick.

Bengali hero Tota Roy Chowdhury is from the family that owns the famous MP Jewellers of Kolkata. Before joining Bangla cinema, Tota has had formal training as a diamond cutter from Hong Kong.

Dev - Deepak Adhikari - is a Bengali, unlike his peer and rival Bangla cinema hero Jeet. Deepak was born in a rural area of West Bengal, and went on to study Computers in Pune before getting into cinema. It is not known how, or why, Deepak became Dev.

Koyel Mullick, daughter of veteran Ranjit Mullick, apparently is the quintessential Bengali bhalo meye who still goes by her parents' advice and refuses Bollywood movies regularly because that would not be in tune with her mass appeal to Bengali film lovers.

There are six film songs composed by Jeet Ganguli, and the background score is by Sanjay Chowdhury, son of the legendary Salil Chowdhury.

Description:- Movie Review: The premise of "Uro Chithi" is interesting. While battling the demons of recession, the protagonist (Indraneil) deletes one text message after another from his phone. In the process of deletion, each of the SMSes leave behind a short story that deals with lust, caution and many other emotions. Kamaleswar Mukherjee threads together all these stories to make a sleek urban film in his directorial debut.

The most difficult part about making a film is to have a balanced approach while working with so many characters. There are plenty of chances of going overboard with tempting characterizations that may not add much to the bigger picture. In that sense, it\'s a fairly tight ropewalk for Kamaleswar and though all the characters in the movie may not really justify their presence, he does write some very interesting roles for Indraneil, Biswanath, Locket, Sreelekha and Tanusree. Perhaps, "UC" will remain as one of the most memorable performances of Biswanath on the big screen in recent times. The actor, who is largely relegated to only doing comic roles, reinvents himself as a hapless house-husband who picks up the pieces after having endured the frustrations of unemployment. It\'s time Tollywood offered more interesting roles to Biswanath instead of trying to brand him as the official funnyman of the industry. His on-screen wife, Locket, is equally good with her act, especially when she metamorphoses from being a middle-class homemaker to a small-time parlour owner.

Then, there is Sreelekha. From being a caring and loving wife, she transforms to a nervous wreck when she learns about Indraneil having a fling with Tanusree.

Watch out for the scene where she expresses her sense of detached attachment towards Indraneil when she spots him in front of her house after their separation. Tanusree\'s screen presence makes her a delight to watch as the other woman in Indraneil\'s life who suffers from all the pangs of being in a relationship with a married man. Indraneil does justice to his role of playing a suave corporate high-flier who faces the brunt of recession and broken relationships to finally gather himself again. Considering that Rudranil and Sudipta are very gifted performers, they don\'t disappoint though both of them have got far better scope on the big screen to exploit their talent. Resshmi fits her role too. What also works for "UC" is its smart look. Credit for this goes to cinematographer Manoj Mishra and art director Dhananjay Mondal. It\'s an advantage to have Debajyoti Mishra on board as the composer whose score blends well with the visual experience of the film. Baishe Srabon (also 22e Srabon English:22nd Srabon) is a 2011 Bengali musical thriller directed by director Srijit Mukherji. The cast of the movie consists of Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Raima Sen, Abir Chatterjee and reputed actor Gautam Ghosh who made a come back after 29 years. The movie is based on two journalists and two cops (one suspended) chasing a psycho killer who is taking his revenge in Kolkata, leaving behind couplets of famous Bengali poets as a hint.Several murders have taken place through out the city of Kolkata .A Serial killer is believed to be responsible .

The mods operandi being that the killer always caries out the murder according to verses in Bengali poetry . He leaves behind the verses next to the victim . The police are baffled . Their lead detective struggles to solve the case . This leads to his superiors deciding to bring back an excop to help solve the case . The excop, who was earlier suspended for orchestrating a fake encounter, is also well known for his ill temperament .

Now the excop and the lead detective must work together to catch the serial killer before another innocent loses his life .For the first time Bengali avant garde literature i.e. Hungry generation movement of 1960s has been coopted into mainstream film by Srijit Mukherji in his film Baishe Srabon wherein famous film director Gautam Ghosh has portrayed the role of a Hungryalist poet.
